Paudie Kissane
( All Ireland Senior Football Winner 2010, National Football League Winner 2010 & 2011, All Ireland Junior Football Winner 2007, GAA All Star 2010, GPA All Star 2010, Munster Senior Football Winner 2009, National Football League Div 2 Winner 2009)
Paudie in 2008 finally got his long awaited start when he played for the Cork Senior Football Team in 4 of the League Matches early in the year, He started the first championship game of the year versus Limerick where for the first 20 minutes he played very well. He suffered an serious hand injury which left Paudie out for the rest of 2008.He came back strong in 2009 and Came on in the 2009 Munster Football Final Versus Limerick were he played a staring Role in Cork Retaining the title. Paudie made his Croke Park debut in the Following game Versus Donegal where he score 2 points from Wing Back. However it was in 2010 where he really cemented his place as wing back on the Cork Team, he won a league medal against Mayo and had a heroic display against Kerry in the opening round against Kerry. He scored 3 points that day and was RTE man of the Match. Although Cork lost to Kerry in the replay Kissane had a terrific year and he picked up his second man of the match award against Limerick in the Qualifiers. Cork made the All Ireland Football Final that year where they defeated Down in the final. Paudie started wing back. It was a great day for him after all the adversity he overcame. He deservedly won the All Star for wing back in both the Vodafone and GPA Teams of the Year. Paudie  was part of the Cork Junior Team which were victors over Wexford in the All-Ireland Football Final in 2007. Paudie played wing back and was instrumental in setting up the score which led Cork to winning the Munster Final by a point against Clare in the Gaelic Grounds. Paudie was also a member of the Cork County Senior Football Panel in 2002-2003.He has played a major part in Clyda Fortunes since 2001 and was to the fore when Clyda beat Fermoy to win the North Cork U21A title for the first time in its history. He has been a major driving force for Clyda Teams in both Hurling and Football for the Past few Years

Ray Carey

(All Ireland Senior Football Winner 2011, National Football League Winner 2010 & 2011, Munster Football Winner 2009, Sigerson  Football Winner 2009, All Ireland U21 Football Winner 2007, National Football League Winner Div 2 2009)
Ray Carey Cork Senior Footballer made his senior debut in 2009 versus Waterford in the Munster Championship. He missed the Game V Kerry in Killarney but was fit to play a part in the replay in pairc Ui Chaoimh a week later. Ray won his first Munster Medal when Cork meat Limerick. Unfortunately Ray was injured for the All Ireland Final in 2009 where Kerry defeated Cork. He made the corner back position his own in 2010 when Cork although defeated in the Munster final made the All Ireland Final. Cork defeated Down by a point to claim the All Ireland Title. Ray was corner back on that great day, in 2011 unfortunately Cork did not retain the title but won the National League again. Ray was Corner back on the Winning Cork U21 All-Ireland Football Winning Team for 2007. He was also playing on the team a year earlier that failed in the final against Mayo, he was also on the Cork Minor Team in 2004. Ray has won many underage honours with Clyda. He holds a Minor A north Cork League and U21B Football Medal with the Club.  and won a Sigerson Cup Medal in 2009 when C.I.T beat D.I.T in the Final.

Cormac O'Sullivan ( All-Ireland U21 Football Medal Winner 1984-1985, Cork County Junior A Hurling Winner 1989, Cork County Inter Football Winner 1996)

Cormac O'Sullivan has to go down as one of the greatest Clyda Players of all Time. He first Made the Clyda first team at 16 Years of Age. He was a sub on the Great Cork U21 All-Ireland winning teams of the mid 80's. He was also a Cork minor and Junior. He holds most major honours in the Club, his medal haul comprimes 4 Junior A Football North Cork Medals, 2 Junior A hurling Medals, 1 County Junior A Hurling Medal & 1 County Inter Football Medal. He was a major player for Clyda when they were senior between 1997 and 2005. He still plays with Clyda Footballers in 2007.He played Mid Field for Most of his Career.

Padraig O Mullane (Cork County Inter Winner 1996)

Padraig O'Mullane has been a driving force for Clyda since he broke onto the Clyda Intermediate Team as a 16 year Old in 1993. His display's that year earned him a call up onto the Cork Minor All Ireland Winning Panel of 1993. Padriag was the youngest player on the County Winning Team of 1996. His Man of the Match Display against Nemo in the Cork County Senior Championship of 2000 earned him a call up for the Cork Senior Football Panel of 2001. He played a number of rounds for Cork in the League.

Timmy O'Callaghan ( Munster Senior Football Winner 1983, Cork County Junior A Hurling Medal 1989, Cork County Inter Football Medal 1996)

Timmy is synomonus with the Clyda Rovers Club as both a player and Coach with the Club. He was on the Cork Senior Football team that beat Clare in the 1983 Munster Semi Final when he was man of the Match, he cruely got injured and missed Corks victory over Kerry in the Minster Final. Timmy won numerous medals with Clyda over the years and is only one of the few players who hold 2 county medals in the Club. He was Coach to the winning County Intermediate football team in 1996 and also Coached the Clyda Senior Footballers to the Semi Final of the County in 2000. Timmy was a Cork Senior Football Selector from 2001 to 2003.
