Club News January. Clyda Rovers Gaa Awards Night. This years awards night will be held on the 10th of February in Derry
Murphy's Bar. Presentations on the night will included Player of the year, Clubman of the year and there will be medals presented
to the victorious Minor and Intermediate teams, also on the night the club will present a Cheque to the Cope Foundation of
proceeds raised from the St. Stephens day Puc Fada and the bed push. Everyone is welcome.
Under 21 Football. Our u21 footballers returned to action last weekend. We were down to play C.I.T in
the Glenville tournament. On the night C.I.T were unable to field a team so we receieved a bye threw to the next round were
we meet Millstreet. This Fixture is down for the weekend of the 27th of January and it will be played in Mourneabbey.
Club Lotto. The Third draw of the new year took place last Friday Night in Derry
Murphy's Bar. The numbers drawn on the night were 1, 9, 10 and 24. There was no jackpot winner. Lucky dip winners on the night
were E50 Lisa Cronin, E30 Shane Hallahan and the three winners of E20 each were William O' Connell, Jerry O' Donoghue and
Christina King. The Next draw will take place Friday 27th of January in O' Mahoneys Bar Bottlehill. Let The Games Begin.
It's that time of the year again when our senior teams in the club
start back training in preperation for what hopefully will be a long and successful year on the pitch. Our intermediate footballers are playing Division 2 league football
this year after winning the Division 3 league last season And they will play Bantry in the first round of the premier intermediate
foootball championship. Our junior hurlers are also gone up a division in the league after finishing runners up in last years
competition. But the first team out for Clyda is our U21 footballers who are playing this Sunday 22nd of January in the Glenville
Invational Tournament. We are playing C.I.T @ 6 in the C.I.T grounds. The club would like to wish Christopher Buckley a speedy recovery from his knee operation
and hope to see him in the black and amber jersey again very soon.
Club Lotto. The second draw of the new year wa\s held in O' Mahoney's Bar Bottlehill Friday night last the 13th of January. There
was no jackpot winner so the jackpot remains at E12,500. The lucky dip winners on the night were E50 Derry Murphy, Railway

annual Clyda Rovers Gaa puc fada takes place on Monday the 26th of December (St. Stephens Day) at 1.30pm. Registration at
murphy's Bar. It is E10 per person to enter, All proceed raised go to Cope Foundation. Santa comes to Mourneabbey. Santa is coming to Mourneabbey Community
Center on Sunday the 18th of December between 2 and 5pm. This is been organised by Mourneabbey Foroige Club. Please all support. Aonther Winner. Congratulations to Chris O Sullivan who won E175 in the Cork County Board GAA Draw.
